Young high school students of Patna made their way of celebrating Diwali

Diwali - festival which is the most popular Indian celebration which is celebrated in different styles of celebration, rituals, and traditions having different stories across the country. But the main objective of this festival is the joy of sharing and the joy of giving. Following this idea of our ancestors, some young city boys walked into the areas which witness darkness even during the festival when the whole city is shining on its peak. This festival of light supposedly bring happiness in lives of people but the children spending their lives in the slum are miles away from receiving this happiness. And the major hurdle in the path of celebration is the poverty and the only aim of life to support the family making them unable to see this beauty of the world. On Diwali eve, some city boys from Aawaam Organisation helped these children to reach that pinnacle of happiness and shared joys between them. First Ever Rubik's Cube learning program in Patna by Aawaam

Only books can't give every lesson of life.Practical skill sets are important too"'- With this idea and mission, Team Aawaam organized 3 days learning  programme of Rubik's cube which was something creative for the first time in the state and witnessed an amazing response from students of different localities who passionately took part and show their enthusiasm throughout the camp. Rubik's cube is a puzzle which increases spatial thinking, concentration, memory, coordination between right and left the brain and more benefits as well. This creative project was precisely designed by Suryakant Verma , Founder of Aawaam and Soumya Singh Rathour , Project Manager , #Aawaam; which was proudly supported by Skill minds India , Social Envoy and Ignited Brains. Painting Competition On Environment Day by Aawaam

On the eve of Environment day, an online competition on painting with the topic 'Environment Day Awareness' was conducted which was raised by huge response from children from Patna and different cities as well. Entries from the provided age groups were ringing the emails continuously and witnesses and enormous response from the student who beautifully represented ideas on how to save the environment, need for saving the environment and other stuff related to it. We got our three winners who were awarded for their concept and creativity. The result of our the event is  as follows: 1st Prize: Rohit Singh, St. Karen's High School from Rajiv Nagar, Patna 2nd Prize: Vijeta Shree, Little Flower High School from Gulzarbagh, Patna 3rd Prize: Akshita Srivastava, from Indrapuri We look forward to more competitions on our behalf which will help to find out some more creative minds like these and will contribute our best in making them move ahead. Plantation Drive on Environment day   -Vipul Sharan Srivasatava On the occasion of World Environment Day 5 th  june 2017, the consolidated members of  Plant Eco circle , Aawaam the young emerging entrepreneurs and environmentalist had organized a plantation drive in eight cities of the bihar. This massive Plantation Drive were named in all cities as #GreenPatna, #GreenMuzzafarpur, #GreenPatna, #GreenDarbhanga, #GreenChhapra, #GreenAra, #GreenSaharsa and #GreenSamastipur.
